Sub-alcaline soil composed by 45% silt, 30% clay and 25% sand.
It is aged in big oak barrels of 5,000 liters each.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS AND PAIRING
In the glass it shows a clear garnet red color, of beautiful transparency.
The nose opens with spicy notes of pepper and nutmeg, small red fruits and hints of violet then give way to a delicate background of black tea and cocoa.
In the mouth it is round and structured, with enveloping tannins and a pleasant finish of bergamot and licorice.
Perfect wine for large stewed and grilled red meats and for aged and blue cheeses.
It is advisable to open at least an hour before pouring and decanting.
