VINE AND VINEYARD
100% Nebbiolo cru Cà Grossa.
The vineyard is exposed to west and south/west.
It presents a calcareous-clayed soil, medium textured.
AGING
It is aged in big oak barrels of 5,000 liters each.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS AND PAIRING
In the glass it shows a very bright garnet red color.
The nose opens with floral notes of lavender and wisteria, blackberry and black currant, blood orange and plum. It closes with a pleasant note of black pepper and chestnut flowers.
On the palate it is fresh, soft, with well-polished tannins, sapid, with a long finish of plum and licorice.
A great wine to pair with large stewed red meats. It is also excellent with goat and blue cheeses.
SERVICE
It is advisable to open at least an hour before pouring and decanting.
